We know how important online safety is for children, and want you to know that MGA Entertainment has done everything possible to create Be-Bratz.com™ as a fun and safe environment for your children to play online.
Be-Bratz.com™ is a safe interactive virtual world designed specifically with the Bratz™ fan in mind. At Be-Bratz.com™ your child can express her/himself, be creative, have fun and connect with friends. Interacting with Bratz™ is a fun way to learn about individuality, friendship, loyalty, sensitivity to others and much more.
Joining Be-Bratz.com™ gives your child a unique opportunity to create her/his own Bratz™ character and character MyPage, decorate a room, design fashions, take care of a pet and interact with other Bratz™ fans online.
Best of all, Bratz™ fashion dolls and styles are cool and hip, which kids love, but you can rest easy knowing that fitting in with the Bratz™ is a safe, nonviolent way to belong with the "cool kids."
To ensure your child's safety we've put the following safety measures in place:
- Members to Be-Bratz.com™ are identified online by their Bratz™ character name, not their own name. The Bratz™ character name can not be the same name as your child and we have put special filters to help prevent this. No personally identifiable information (names, email addresses, etc.) can be accessed through a Bratz™ character name.
- Members to Be-Bratz.com™ communicate with each other by text messaging each other online through our Bratz™ Messenger. All online text messaging options must be approved by you, the parent. Be-Bratz.com™ has the following text messaging options in place:
- Bratz™ Texting: This option allows members to choose from predefined messages and greetings. This is the safest way to communicate with other Be-Bratz.com™ members.
- No Texting – This will completely disable the text messaging feature in Be-Bratz.com™. Your child will not be able to communicate with other members at all.
- We have a "bad word filter" in place to mitigate members from using bad words or alternated spellings which sound like bad words on Be-Bratz.com™.
- You and your child can instantly block any member from communicating with him/her and can report them directly to Be-Bratz.com™ at Be-bratz@mgae.com.
- We have put together a list of rules for Be-Bratz.com™ members to follow. In addition we rely on you to report any member who abuses the rules on Be-Bratz.com™ to Be-bratz@mgae.com. Members who violate these rules will have their account cancelled and may not be able to play anymore on Be-Bratz.com™.
Be-Bratz.com™ Rules of Play
- Be respectful: No hurtful, offensive or threatening language is permitted.
- Your name, your age or hometown should not be in your Bratz™ character name.
- Bratz™ character names which contain bad words or alternate spellings which sound like bad words are not allowed. The Bratz™ character name or account will immediately be cancelled and the user may not be allowed to play any more. (Please note: If an account is cancelled anything associated with that account including all accumulated points, fashions, room décor, food, mypals, etc. may be permanently deleted).
